Accountant Jobs

Recruitment Partners is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our client’s team in Williams Lake, BC. This position reports directly to the Controller and will play a crucial role in leading the administration team, as well as working closely with operations to ensure the success of the business.
Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To

• Ensure that payroll is entered, reviewed, and complete in a timely manner for close to 50 employees.
• Assist with reconciliations and reporting as needed
• Perform administrative duties in collaboration with the operations team, including tracking, filing, and ticketing.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations
• Assist with the preparation of full cycle accounting records for various entities, accounts receivable, expenses, and accounts payable.
• Mentor, provide training, and manage two Administrators.

Your strengths and qualifications include:

• Education in accounting would be considered an asset
• Experience with bookkeeping, or strong AP/ AR experience
• Strong technological proficiency and comfortability in navigating new software programs are a must.
• Experience working in an industrial environment (construction, waste management, etc) would be considered an asset
