Robert Half are hiring candidates for an Intermediate Accountant opportunity within Metro Vancouver area, with a reputable, dynamic organization. This role is responsible for bank reconciliation, vendor reconciliation, financial statement preparation and full cycle AP and AR. If you are interested in this Accountant role, this contract / contract / temporary short term assignment could be perfect for you!
What You Get To Do Every Day

• Data entry
• Assisting with full cycle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Investigating and correcting account discrepancies
• Prepare monthly journal entries
• Reconciling and leveling general ledger accounts
• Monthly financial statement preparation
• Month end and year end

Requirements

• Financial Statement preparation experience
• 1+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Credit card and bank reconciliation experience
• MS Dynamics experience preferred
• MS Excel experience required
• Eagerness to work independently and part of a team
• Knowledge of journal entries
• Applicants are recommended to hold an AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
