We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, reconciling accounts, processing transactions, and ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial data. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
·Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks Online
·Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
·Prepare and reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial documents
·Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close procedures
·Prepare and submit timely financial reports and statements
·Assist with budget preparation and monitoring
·Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and accuracy
·Assist with payroll processing and related tasks
·Collaborate with the finance team to streamline processes and improve efficiency
Requirements:
·A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Intermediate Accountant or similar role
·Post-secondary Degree in Accounting
·Proven expertise in using QuickBooks Online for bookkeeping tasks
·Understanding Mandarin will be an asset
·Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
·Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant accounting software
·Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
·Strong organizational and time management skills
·Ability to work independently and handle confidential information
·Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
·Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities
·Knowledge of payroll processing and relevant regulations is a plus
