Post Secondary education in a related field

Client Communication and Relationship Management:

Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and budget estimates.

Ensure all project activities are executed according to the plans, specifications, and contractual requirements.

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Site Superintendent, preferably with experience in school construction or school improvement projects.

Manage the day to day site operations for the project

Coordinate, manage and schedule all sub-trades for the project

10+ years of experience working with established ICI general contractors

Ensuring that the health and safety project plans and MOL requirements are implemented and followed

Have all necessary certifications like Working at Heights, WHIMIS, First Aid and Basics of Supervision

Possess thorough knowledge in designing and building large scale multi family construction projects

Over 5 years of experience in a Site Superintendent role specializing in high-volume low-rise residential construction.

Establish, uphold, and regulate quality control standards at the construction site.

Assisting in creating a construction schedule and a site management plan.

Overseeing site cleanliness and maintenance in accordance with the site management plan.

Assists management in obtaining and verifying all trade-provided "As Builts" and manuals.

Monitors and conducts monthly budget reviews with management.

3+ years of relevant experience within the mid to hi-rise industry, specifically working on concrete projects.

Developing and assessing specifications and plans.

Strong leadership skills and experience managing construction sites

Proficiency with project management software including MS Project, Procore, etc.

Ensuring deficiencies are managed and correct up to company standards

Three to five years and more of Superintendent experience in the ICI industry

Experience with high-end architectural + millwork packages.

Experience with multiple full-cycle new developments (Steel, Formwork, Concrete, Finishing, etc.)

Excellent organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Collaborate with the Construction Management team, Architectural and Engineering consulting team, and all stakeholders to ensure clients' expectations are met.

Manage project completion deficiencies and assist the Construction Management Team in completing necessary documents.

Proficient in using construction management software and tools.

Monitor, forecast, and manage subcontractor and material suppliers' progress to ensure adherence to schedule targets.

Proven experience as a Site Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry.

Highly organized with effective managerial, communication and problem-solving skills.

Maintain current knowledge of local building codes, zoning, and safety regulations.

Ensure site follows all WorkSafe BC and OH&S legislated requirements.

Work with Project Manager to review preliminary plans for feedback with regards to cost & design, job scope, schedule, and budget.

Visit new site with Project Manager to ensure proper planning / organization i.e., site office, storage, temporary fence, and temporary power.

Participate in the home walk-throughs with the Project Manager and the homeowner. *Include the President from time to time*

Minimum of 5 years residential construction management experience with a volume builder.

Knowledge of construction management systems and processes.

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Management of subcontractors: to include scheduling, inspection, quality control, and approval of work.

Materials management: to include scheduling and checking deliveries, correcting take offs, and insuring proper installation.

Safety: responsible for on-site implementation and management of Company safety program, to include inspections, toolbox talks, documentation, and reporting.

Manage/Coordinate the delivery to site of all materials and equipment in a timely manner and as required by the project schedule

Minimum of 8-10 years of multi-family residential and/or commercial construction experience, ideally a minimum of 2 years in Site Super capacity

Preference given to candidates with wood frame structure experience

Knowledge of construction technology, methods, equipment, tools, procedures, scheduling and cost control

Strong knowledge of safety on commercial work sites

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Thorough understanding of construction management and construction principles and practices

Thorough understanding and accountability of the site financial management of projects

Responsible for construction site management from start to finish

Participate in the selection, performance management, and termination of field site personnel

Communication and customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form

10+ years of progressive experience as a Site Superintendent

Provide on-site management, administrative, and technical direction for construction projects

Advise senior management of potential problems, work interferences, or schedule difficulties and assist in circumventing/resolving such conflicts

Lead and chair trade meetings, contribute to the development of a construction plan, and manage subcontractor activities

Assure construction compliance with design requirements and project quality standards

A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Site Superintendent in ICI projects

Advanced knowledge of various construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control, engineering drawings, and other documents

Strong leadership skills and experience managing construction sites

Coordinate, schedule and manage all sub trades on site

Strong leadership, technical construction, and software / technology skills

Maintain a high level of health and safety on site at all times

Report project progress to key internal and external stakeholders

Assists with the management of maintenance of job site ensuring it is clean and aesthetically appealing while under construction.

5 years of overall construction experience with a minimum of 3+ years of site supervision.

Previous experience in multi-family (midrise) residential construction preferred.

Knowledge of Ontario Building Code, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and other health and safety regulations.

Skills in building relationships with a broad network of contacts, including trade partners and suppliers and a strong customer focus.

Adheres to procedures as required by the trade Scopes of Work and Mattamy Quality Standards communicates corrective action required to Superintendent

Work closely with the Project Management team and update on any anticipated delays or changes in the scope of work;

● 5+ years experience working for a Developer or General Contractor/Construction Manager.
