Minimum 2 years industry experience in Storage Rack Engineering and experienced in development of department structure, personnel, prompt outputs and profitability.

Strong knowledge of Canadian Building Code, Canadian Welding Bureau, RMI, AISI and other related codes and standards.

Extensive knowledge of manufacturing of mechanical structures.

Deep knowledge of Cold Forming Steels (CFS) principals.

Strong working experiences with Cold Forming Devices (Shear and Bending).

Extensive knowledge of Manufacturing Process.

You have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering or equivalent experience.

You possess strong observation and analytical skills to troubleshoot process and quality-related issues.

You possess at least 5 years of execution in world-class, high-volume manufacturing process development.

You have an excellent grasp of foundational and state of the art manufacturing process development techniques.

You have competency in modelling software such as Solidworks, Inventor, or similar.

You drive continuous improvement of manufacturing activities through detailed analytical reviews, process automation and fixture/tooling design.

Prior experience with failure analysis and the 8D Process asset

Hands on experience and knowledge of metal cutting and forming and welding

Three years’ experience as a manufacturing or process engineer in industrial

Knowledge of and familiarity with Auto Cad or other design software

Methodology, Green / Black belt certifications / training

Demonstrated knowledge of equipment controls/PLC required,

report to the Plant Manager with a dotted line to the VP of Manufacturing.

Excellent time management and project management skills

Prior experience in assembly and sheet metal fabrication considered an asset, also knowledge of machines, tools, and their design.

4+ years of Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering experience

4+ years’ experience in an Engineering Department with direct responsibility for the design and/or construction portion of the department

Strong presentation, oratory, and verbal skills

Demonstrated knowledge of Canadian Engineering standards
