Warehouse Logistics Specialist Jobs

5+ years of direct trade compliance experience in a multinational organization

Business degree in Supply Chain Logistics or related experience

Knowledge of global import/customs regulations, export control regulations, embargoes, and sanctions

Computer Literate – must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel

Work with the Shipping/Warehousing teams on the floor

Prioritize the Sales Order to ensure Shipping and Logistics are aligned for On-Time Deliveries

Collaborate with team members to manage inventory and maintain an organized warehouse.

Collaborate with the customer service team to resolve issues and enhance the customer experience.

Stay informed about product offerings, promotions, and company policies to better assist customers.

Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a similar role is preferred.

Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately manage inventory and orders.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Experience in a supervisor or related role preferred

Requires basic math and counting skills

Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

Performs transfers of products and/or merchandise to and from the warehouse

Processes requests for supplies, prepares merchandise for delivery, and prepares packages for shipping according to established procedures

Schedules and assigns daily work assignments to a team and oversees the completion of tasks

Quality Management System– Understand and apply GN Corporations Inc. quality system requirements, including customer requirements and legal requirements.

Prepares and distributes reports for management and operational purposes

Oversee inventory management and ensure safe handling of all packages and warehouse needs

At least 2 years of proven experience in warehouse and logistics coordination and supervision,

Extensive knowledge of major couriers – FedEx, Purolator, UPS, etc. including how to operate their respective software packages,

Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) is a must,

EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS:

Provides subordinates with guidance in handling difficult or complex problems. Resolves grievances or submits unsettled disputes to management.

Communicates customer shipping requirements to scheduling and material handlers.

Leadership Skills - ability to motivate people to perform at high levels

Previous supervisory experience in unionized environments preferred

Computer Skills: SAP, MS Office, and database programs

Collaborate with other SC functions, Operations and Maintenance groups to effectively manage and optimize order fulfillment rate.

Resolve problems utilizing knowledge of shipping/receiving/stock operations

4% Vacation Pay, paid out on each pay cheque (when working temporarily)

Shift is Monday to Friday (Days)

Assure and maintain data integrity in all work

Comply with all company policies and procedures, and controls including but not limited to safety, health, confidentiality, and environmental policies

Support and maintain KPI metrics and prepare reports for management regular review

Comply with company safety requirements and perform all tasks in a safe manner

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

Forklift operation experience is an advantage

Experience in biopharmaceutical or GMP environment is preferred

Proficiency in MS Suite; SAP knowledge

· College Diploma or certification in procurement is preferred

· Intermediate to advanced computer processing skills including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

· Experience with SAP is an Asset
