Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls

2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment

2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures

1+ year of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles

Procedure based maintenance experience (PM)

Must be computer literate in Microsoft Office programs; knowledge and experience with CLASS, Hansen/Infor is considered an asset.

Assume responsibility for the Centre as required on Manager on Duty shifts, by guiding part-time employees on shift.

Attend training sessions to maintain compliance with training requirements.

Secondary School diploma, with 3 - 5 years of experience in recreation facility operation and maintenance.

Related Post-Secondary education is an asset.

Experience in custodial/janitorial work necessary.

Skills, Experience & Education Requirements

Knowledge of SOPs related to safety, cleaning, machine operation, quality

The ability to understand, follow and perform safety procedures and requirements

Knowledge of SOPs cleaning, start up, safety, operation, quality

Operate forklift machinery as required for material handling duties

Backfill for Palletizer and/or Blender helper as needed, including forklift duties

Minimum 2 years’ experience as a hoe pack operator.

CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support

Valid Driver’s License (non GDL)

Drug and alcohol testing (swab-based test)

Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation

Consistently and effectively carry out recertification on OSES equipment that is utilized internationally

Possess a good knowledge of company tools and services to promote sales

Intermediate math and basic algebra skills

Expertly install, remove and maintain various isolation tools without supervision

Grade 12 education or equivalent experience.

Three (3) years of satisfactory experience operating trucks and equipment.

Knowledge and ability to operate ½ ton trucks, single axle trucks, tandems, loader-backhoes.

Operate a variety of vehicles and equipment as and when instructed by the Area Supervisor.

Operate mobile equipment such as tractors, loader-backhoes, mower-loaders/sweepers and other types of equipment used for road surface maintenance and repair.

Operate power and hand tools and equipment such as chain saws, jack hammers, mowers, generators, compressors, pumps, trimmers, hammers, wrenches, shovels.

Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills.

Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple priorities or projects and keep them progressing to completion.

3 months of experience in at least two recognized trade lines, such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.

Able to Support maintenance at other sites as required.

Ability to work within a team environment.

Familiar with computers as well as work order system (Megamation)

Other related duties as required

Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred.

Housekeeping duties including shoveling, sweeping, and cleaning in a harsh environment

Inspection and changing of crusher screens and dust collector bags

Testing for and identification of colour quality

Operation of hand tools, power tools and mobile equipment

High exposure to standing, climbing, crawling, lifting and material handling

Exposure to vibration, dust, weather extremes, confined spaces, heights and noise

Minimum two years related experience in building maintenance in an institutional setting is required.

Demonstrated experience working with customers.

Basic computer skills are required for daily use of the AHS e-Facilities system

High School Diploma is required.

Vehicle and valid Alberta Drivers License required

Ability to read and understand written instruction.

5+ years' experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military

Experience with and ability to read a blueprint

Basic Microsoft Office computer skills

Experience and ability to perform welding activities such as MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting and brazing

Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English

Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift

Ensure that all employees are aware of their responsibilities specific to food safety, legality and quality

Arrive to work on time and with all tools to perform tasks

Responsible for start-up, picking up formulas, and reviewing mixing schedule

Ensure all minor ingredients are screened and scaled accurately according to current and up-to-date formulas

Assist with the loading of ingredients into the mixer

Hiring Range: $21.85 - $25.13 (based on experience)
