Overview A Trust Officer is a professional who is responsible for managing and administering trusts, estates, and other fiduciary accounts. They are responsible for ensuring that the assets of the trust are managed in accordance with the wishes of the grantor and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Detailed Job Description Trust Officers are responsible for managing and administering trusts, estates, and other fiduciary accounts. They must ensure that the assets of the trust are managed in accordance with the wishes of the grantor and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. They must also ensure that the trust is properly funded and that all taxes and other obligations are paid in a timely manner. Trust Officers must also be able to provide advice and guidance to the grantor and beneficiaries of the trust. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of trust and estate law

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field
• Master’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field preferred
• Professional certification in trust and estate law preferred
• 5+ years of experience in trust and estate law
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of trust and estate law
• Knowledge of tax laws and regulations
• Knowledge of investment strategies
• Knowledge of financial planning

• 5+ years of experience in trust and estate law
• Experience in financial planning and investments
• Experience in managing and administering trusts
Job Responsibilities
• Manage and administer trusts, estates, and other fiduciary accounts
• Ensure that the assets of the trust are managed in accordance with the wishes of the grantor and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Ensure that the trust is properly funded and that all taxes and other obligations are paid in a timely manner
• Provide advice and guidance to the grantor and beneficiaries of the trust
• Monitor investments and make recommendations for changes as needed
• Prepare and file all necessary tax returns and other documents
• Maintain accurate records and reports of all trust activities
