·3+ years’ experience working as a regional marketing specialist, field marketing manager, trade marketing

Insure compliance with Canadian and U.S. ITC trade compliance requirements while facilitating business growth.

In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, export controls, customs procedures, and trade compliance best practices.

Experience in developing and implementing trade compliance programs within a multinational organization.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Experience of working with large financial software systems ION knowledge desirable

Relational database concepts and knowledge in SQL

RedHat O/S Admin Experience via command line

Experience of working with Global partners

Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of any financial products especially the Rates markets is desirable.

Minimum of two years of relevant experience dealing with trade and customs matters with a concentration in tariff classification

Prior experience in apparel/textiles within retail organization or brokerage/consulting firm would be an asset

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business, Law, or other related field

Comprehensive knowledge of product regulation or/and customs regulations, other government agency requirements, and understanding of international trade

Maintain knowledge and stay current with federal, provincial and municipal product and trade related regulations, providing compliance guidance and advice.

3 to 5 years of relevant experience in luxury or retail industry

Certified Customs Specialist, Certified Trade Compliance Specialist, or other PTC-related certification an asset

Excellent written and oral communication skills; proficiency in French an asset

Support the management of the SBD Canada Recordkeeping program and CSA program requirements

Knowledge & understanding of Canadian Customs regulations and Import/Export procedures

Experience in CSA Import environment a plus

Practical experience and knowledge of the North American Free Trade Agreement and other Free trade agreements

Create a USMCA certification and review process for Finning re-manufactured goods

Create and manage the process to classify ECCN/ECL and HS for parts and equipment

Analyze sales of parts to expand and manage the Conditional Relief Duty deferral and Drawback program

Create and manage import/export documents and perform export third party screening.

Staying current on all SME training requirements

Supporting the export Commodity Jurisdiction (CJ) and Commodity Classification Requests (CCR) request processes as needed.

Reviewing supplier and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) classifications and document internal concurrence or re-classification for export and/or import.

Support, including training, of engineering teams within MAS with application of “design for export” concepts.

Supporting compliance audits and assessments.
