Manage VMware 6.x virtual environment with Brocade switches and Tegile storage equipment

Post-secondary school education in related field;

Strong working knowledge of JIRA, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio required;

Tourism industry experience considered an asset;

Experience coordinating cross functional groups;

Creates and documents solutions to fix bugs and to deliver enhancements and projects

Ensure accurate and timely logging of issues and incidents in the incident management system with detailed information.

Contribute to various projects related to updates, upgrades, obsolescence, and vulnerability management.

Proactively monitor, manage, and optimize the availability and performance of production environments, including middleware and databases.

Education: Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT Systems.

Experience: Minimum of 10 years of Application Production Support experience.

Act as the initial point of contact for production environment issues, providing Level 1 and Level 2 functional and technical support.

Working knowledge or familiarity scripting skills Perl, Python and PowerShell

Pro-actively monitor, manage and improve availability and performance of the production environments and application layers to middleware and databases.

Excellent experience on systems like Windows, UNIX, and Linux

Excellent knowledge of databases like Oracle and SQL

Working experience of IT tools like Geneos, ServiceNow, Autosys, Jenkins, Dynatrace etc.

Working knowledge of file transfer protocols/tools like - CFT, FTP & SFTP

Offer 1st Level support for all MES processes, PC, printer and other IT related issues.

Other duties as assigned by a supervisor or Manager

Employ best practices using ITIL foundational requirements.

Minimum of a Post-Secondary Education in a Computer Science or Computer Programming/Analyst Program

Preferred 1-3 years’ experience in Information Systems with a strong manufacturing background, preferably in automotive parts industry.

Experience with MES standards and MES software preferred.

Work to meet departmental and personal goals established by management

Effective time management and organization

Manage Windows Update deployments and patching using patching software

Manage daily backups using Veeam/Windows

Manage small to medium-sized projects according to budgets and schedules

1-year experience in System or Network Administrator role

Monitoring and Event Management tooling environment

Able to take business requirements and provide solutions, documenting designs and communicating directly with business functions, project delivery and BAU activities.

4+ years of previous IT experience in IT Operating applications specifically around ITOM products.

Working knowledge in one or more of the following areas:

3-5 years’ experience working with managed network equipment.

Manage your daily and weekly work assignments within MS Outlook, MS Teams and ConnectWise CRM application.

University or post-graduate degree or equivalent in computer science, IT disciplines, or equivalent work experience.

A+, Network+ or similar certifications would be an asset.

CCNA designation, Microsoft Azure Certification, or similar certifications are a bonus.

3-5 years’ experience installing, planning and maintaining Microsoft Office 365.

• Manage work and tasks with Development and other stakeholders and ensures system requirements are realized.

• 5-7 Years’ experience as a Business Analyst in an IT environment

• 2-3 Years’ experience of work experience in a financial services industry, preferably back office environment

• Prior experience with back office systems (e.g. iFAST, AWD) and Fund Accounting applications (e.g. Mpower, NAVAlert)

• 2-3 Years’ experience MS Project, MS Office and MS Visio

• Prior Power BI experience

Knowledge of Active Directory and the ability to join a computer to a domain (absolute MUST)

· 3 years of experience in an IT Helpdesk position, customer-facing

· Knowledge of Windows 7 and 10, Office 2010/2016, Active Directory 2008/2012/2016

· Knowledge of Exchange 2010, 2013 and 2016, Office Communicator 2007, VMWare and Citrix Virtualization

· Knowledge of engineering applications (Clearcase, Clearquest, Doors) would be an asset

“Reliability Clearance” and “Controlled Goods”.

o Experience with Murex risk management module, PL Explain and risk matrices

• Identify and address user requirements, gaps and project risks.

Working knowledge of Active Directory Domain Services, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy

Experience in designing and deploying servers in on-premises and cloud environments, using VMWare, Microsoft Server 2019/2022, and Microsoft Azure

Bachelor's Degree or Technical Certificate and/or 4-5 years' experience

VMWare, Microsoft, CompTIA, or other product specific certifications are a plus.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
