Experience with Human Capital Management systems, especially Success Factors, is an asset.

Related HR experience or OD experience.

Experience in online and real-time collaboration, with solid proficiency in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. 

Experience coordinating multiple, deadline-driven projects concurrently in a team-oriented environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proven ability to learn on the job, problem-solve, multitask, prioritize, and manage a dynamic work volume.

Strong project management and prioritization skills, able to coordinate multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously and meet demanding timeframes

Education or experience in Human Resources, Learning or Talent Development

Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively with multiple groups across learning and the business

2+ years of experience in an administrative, coordinator or project type role

Proficient in advanced capabilities in Excel and PowerPoint (use of pivot tables and v-lookup)

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an administrative support position.

Experience in Human Resources administration in a unionized environment is an asset.

Experience using SAP, Time Capture, SharePoint, Adobe Pro, Zoom, and/or Select Survey is an asset.

Significant experience and expertise with the development and maintenance of documents, spreadsheets and databases.

Graduate of a recognized office/business administration program required; HR Diploma or certificate is an asset.

Demonstrated ability to think critically, synthesize information, solve problems, and apply sound judgement in decision-making.

Strong leadership, project & change management skills

Ensure the effective execution of key Talent and Development projects and initiatives, such as leadership training, performance management, and talent management.

Strong understanding of performance management processes and methodologies, including objective setting and mid-year reviews.

Accelerate the growth of key talents through targeted development initiatives and contribute to the overall organizational and leadership capabilities development.

Relevant certifications in Talent, Development, and Learning are a plus

Advanced mentoring & coaching skills

Demonstrated knowledge of project management and leading change skills and tools.

Actively engage in learning opportunities that broaden knowledge, skills and experience relevant to OD Coordinator position.

Advanced computer skills in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access), file management, and website management software.

Knowledge of Adult Learning Theory and adult education principles.

One or more years of experience in Organizational Development preferred.

Strong analytical skills, including the ability to translate research into conclusions and recommendations based on research and analysis.

3-5 years of professional experience, preferably as an HR professional or in a customer service role; a people-first mentality is critical

Strong knowledge of HR best practices and processes and employment legislation (Canada, UK, US) an asset

Experience in a SaaS start-up or understanding of a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Ability to become a trusted resource and develop relationships based on trust, this role will be privy to highly sensitive information

Experience with SharePoint and Learning Management Systems (LMS) would be considered an asset

Administer courses and course completion data using the Region’s of Peel’s learning management system

Provide back-up support to the HR Clerk for user management, activations, enrollments and general LMS support;

Change Management or working towards certification would be considered an asset;

Working towards Learning & Development or Talent Management post-secondary program and/or certification would be considered an asset;

Knowledge of talent management and learning technology practices;

Experience with learning management systems and training authoring tools would be an asset.

Experience with managing large scale projects with multiple stakeholders and providing change management support;
