Post-secondary education, preferably in business, transportation, logistics management is considered an asset.

Advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and most common Excel functions);

Knowledge of specialized software (Oracle SAP, Smartview, etc.) considered an asset;

Knowledge of US US GAAP considered an asset;

Good analytical skills and sound judgement;

To be considered for this position, candidates will possess the following qualifications, knowledge, and experience:

Relevant university qualifications preferably at the graduate level (e.g. Bachelor of Education plus Bachelor of Arts with specialization or equivalent);

Knowledge of different learning needs, including Individual Education Plan accommodations, and a toolbox of strategies for facilitating student success;

A minimum of 2 years of exemplary teaching experience;

Experience in an independent school setting is an asset;

Experience with SCADA, Maintenance Management Systems and Record Keeping would be an asset.

Upon fulfilling licensing requirements, assumes the duties and responsibilities of an Operator In Charge (OIC) as defined by O.Reg 129/04

Provide support for public education initiatives and tours as required.

Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and other applicable legislation and specifications.

A team player with good interpersonal skills and the ability to work both individually and as part of a team.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with other staff, contractors and stakeholders.

Basic computer skills using Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).

Previous training and experience with WHMIS and MSDS would be an asset.

A satisfactory Police Record Check including a Vulnerable Sector Check would be required at time of offer.

Use and care of walk behind floor scrubbers/ride on floor scrubbers/swing buffers/carpet cleaners and other cleaning equipment.

Provide legislated standard cleaning to our Aquatic Centres and a commercial kitchen at Evergreen Seniors Community Centre.

Participate in curriculum development by suggesting enhancements to program content and program offerings

Experience utilizing a broad range of effective instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs to your students

Recent successful, substantive teaching or practical experience in the relevant subject area

Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills

Supervisor problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills

Strong interpersonal skills with a range of populations
