Detailed Job Description A Surgical Assistant is responsible for providing assistance to the surgeon during a surgical procedure. This includes passing instruments, retracting tissue, providing exposure of the operative site, and helping with the closure of incisions. They may also be responsible for the care and maintenance of the operating room. They must be able to anticipate the needs of the surgeon and be able to act quickly and accurately. They must also be able to maintain a sterile field and be able to recognize any potential complications. Job Skills Required

Job Qualifications
