Conduct research and source information that can be incorporated into issues management messaging and practices.

Actively adheres to compliance and risk management policies and participates in business continuity plan, and emergency/crisis communication activities.

Post-secondary education, preferably in business, economics, marketing or communication, journalism and/or related experience

Coordinating event logistics, such as registration, honorariums, audio-visual, finances and catering.

Prepare strategic advice to clients, including stakeholder engagement and communication strategies, risk analysis, and stakeholder management on behalf of clients

Experience delivering projects that meet client objectives, manage risk, and result in high quality deliverables within a client-defined schedule and budget

Liaise with project managers, subject matter experts, clients and subconsultants

Manage projects and deliverables efficiently, including budget, scope, and schedules

Minimum 10 years project experience in strategic communication, stakeholder engagement, or community consultation

Environmental assessment experience and experience in the resource, energy, industrial, transportation, waste, and water/wastewater market sectors considered an asset

Considerable and relevant experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, communications or a relevant field related to major infrastructure design and delivery.

Familiarity with stakeholder management databases such as Jambo, Aurora and StakeTracker.

Strong skills in MS PowerPoint and experience in graphic design to create visually appealing and compelling presentations.

Experience analyzing potential issues and facilitating the development of solutions to mitigate impacts.

Knowledge of public sector decision-making structures and processes at the municipal, regional, provincial, or federal level.

Exceptional relationship, communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
