Previous experience in a tertiary acute care hospital or other healthcare setting.

Well-developed communication, inter-personal, mentorship and leadership skills.

Excellent negotiation, consultation and client advocacy skills; a trauma-informed approach to care.

Master's degree in divinity, theology, theological studies, religious studies or equivalent from a recognized institution.

Proven experience (7+ years) in employer branding, change management, or a related role, preferably at a senior level.

Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.

Lead change management initiatives, ensuring effective planning, execution, and adoption of organizational changes.

Develop change management strategies, frameworks, and tools to minimize resistance and facilitate a smooth transition.

Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of employer branding initiatives and change management efforts.

Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership, highlighting the impact of employer branding and change management initiatives in the organization.

Excellent facilitation and project management skills

Strong working knowledge of the principles and practices of project and change management

Experience with Salesforce or other similar customer relationship management (CRM) system

Holding accountability for the revenue targets of the Foundation’s lotteries, including management of external lottery consultancy and associated suppliers

Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills, including setting and evaluating performance, identifying learning and development opportunities

Experience of the application of marketing fundamentals, ideally in a fundraising environment

Previous experience and expertise in developing, managing and measuring effective student programming.

Knowledge of the school’s undergraduate program and university systems, structures, processes and decision-making structures is an asset.

Experience with new student orientation and first year experience or equivalent major student learning programs and/or community development is required.

Proven ability to work under pressure of critical deadlines and to manage a demanding workload.

Excellent oral and written communications, judgement, interpersonal skills, cross-cultural sensitivity and organizational skills are required.

Ability to manage the complexity inherent within a multi-faceted work environment focused on broad outcomes for students.

As part of the unit’s leadership team, manages a team of professional and student employees and volunteers.

Develops positive relationships with the UBC Commerce Undergraduate Society and other student clubs and groups to ensure an outstanding student experience.

Provides consultation and support to employees, faculty, student employees and students on student learning and co-curricular learning experiences.

Develops and manages the UBC Sauder BCom Orientation and Student Development budgets

Develops processes and policy around funding opportunities, such as Student Experience Grants.

5+ years of experience in an HR leader role or similar, and demonstrated experience with Change Management.

Strong relationship-building skills to build effective working relationships with business unit leaders

Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities as assigned

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, negotiate, and build consensus effectively

Demonstrated experience leading and managing projects through a combination of influence and direct authority

5+ years of relevant experience in strategy, consulting, business development, growth, or partnership roles.

Experience building scalable programs and initiatives from the ground up.

A bachelor’s degree in business, and ideally an MBA or similar education level.
