Strong mechanical or electrical background with knowledge of AC and DC electric motors

Knowledge of other electro-mechanical rotating equipment, including pumps, would be considered an asset

The Key Responsibilities Will Include

Troubleshooting and repairing large AC & DC electric rotating equipment with random or form wound stators, rotors or armatures

Test repair motors to ensure proper repair and performance

Job Duties/Responsibilities May Include, But Are Not Limited To

Knowledge of SPM products and the ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of customer standards

Monitors daily work activities to ensure requirements are met

Assist Iron Technicians during the disassemble phase

Clean, strip and inspect all required flow control components

Prepare flow control products for Gauging, Ultra Sonic, and MPI inspections

Follow and enforce all safety processes and requirements for the dyno test cell.

Manage test cell changes and system upgrades with minimal impact on Engineering validation testing.

6+ years of experience in lab and test environments.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with other engineering colleagues and customers.

Experience in electrical motor drivers, motor testing, and dynos is desirable.

Work experience in soldering electronics per IPC-A-610 standard.
