We are currently seeking an Electric Motor Repair Technician in Truro, NS

The Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Troubleshoot and find root cause on failed equipment
• Test repair motors to ensure proper repair and performance
• Troubleshooting and repairing large AC & DC electric rotating equipment with random or form wound stators, rotors or armatures
• Other duties as required

Requirements

• Must be able to understand and use test equipment and instruments required to perform preliminary, intermediate and final tests.
• Knowledge of other electro-mechanical rotating equipment, including pumps, would be considered an asset
• Strong mechanical or electrical background with knowledge of AC and DC electric motors
• Must be able to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings
