3 years experience in insurance industry or University Degree/College Diploma in Insurance, Finance, or related degree.

Identify/gather/manage relevant account information to quote and bind policies.

Qualification and classification of Small Business submissions.

Provide account support as outlined in position specific requirements.

Accurately issue quotes and new policies for lines of business as outlined in job specific requirements.

Sales experience is an asset

5+ years experience in Banking, preferably within Compliance or Risk Management.

A thorough knowledge of risk management, control and audit disciplines.

Strong analytical, negotiation, influencing and conflict management skills.

Excellent project management, problem solving and decision-making skills.

Manage the delivery of requirements tied to regulatory meetings, monthly / quarterly / ad-hoc based submissions, reconciliations and attestations.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business / Commerce (or equivalent field); Risk Management and / or Regulatory Compliance designation is an asset.

Domain expertise with any retail & small business banking products and/or risk management practices

Conduct research of new innovative modeling methodologies, tools and regulatory requirements; develop new methodologies for model development, monitoring and reporting

Experience as an analyst or data scientist with a track record of accomplishments working on cross-functional teams

Able to work remotely and on-site on multiple activities simultaneously and meet deadlines

2+ years of overall experience in analytic roles developing and using predictive, risk and/or forecasting models

1 or more years of experience with big data platforms / integration (Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Avro)

Engage Group Benefit business internal partners as needed to resolve client requests and issues, escalating to management as necessary

In-depth knowledge of Group Benefits contract provisions, administrative practices and claims paying systems

Ability to make well-balanced decisions that take effective risk management and Plan Sponsor needs into account

Support the RGO in maintaining Plan Sponsor and Market Source relationships by responding to risk, benefit, eligibility and administrative inquiries

Clear and effective written and oral communication/presentation skills, (in English and French)

Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities
