Minimum experience must include 8+ years in K-12 Education, with experience as a building Principal and/or district level administration.

Attention to fine details, logistics, calendar management, and the ability to coordinate communication among several parties.

LIM Coaches will be assigned 30-60 LIM schools with the following coaching responsibilities:

Stay current with relevant educational trends and technology platforms in an effort to serve as a partner to our schools.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Location: Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, or New Brunswick.

Help move patients along their self-management journey

Push patients to ensure they are completing goals, engaging in self-awareness and making self-care changes to improve their own management.

The health coach will take the time to understand each patient and their own type 1 diabetes experience.

Understand and appreciate that every patient comes with their own experience living with type 1 diabetes.

Experience working with individuals with Type 1 diabetes is required

Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) certification preferred

Education and personal development ( World Class )

Assist and support department requirements by preparing and submitting reports, and providing additional support as necessary

Plan and facilitate information sharing sessions related to student employability; interview preparedness, resume writing, basic work and business etiquette

Develop and maintain relationships with employers in both private and public sectors and First Nations across the Province

Identify employers' needs relating to the potential position(s) for client placement

Ensure strict confidentiality and privacy of information as it relates to clients, employers, the Institute, and other third parties

Maintain and research current statistical data on employment opportunities for clients

Three years of retail and/or consumer service experience

One year of leadership experience

High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of post-secondary education will be considered a plus

Exceed all other required contractual, client and/or agency requirements.

Experience in group facilitation and/or career counseling (assessments, job search, job development, workshop facilitation).

Extensive knowledge of pre-employment supports methods, re-training opportunities, and Labour market information and resources.

Knowledge and/or connections with community resources and supports available for youth.

Desire to work in a multicultural setting and possess sound decision making and judgment skills.

Excellent communication, customer service, organizational, presentation skills and sales skills.
