Service Training Program Manager Jobs

Demonstrable experience in using Trello for Agile project management, with a good understanding of its features, plugins, and best practices.

Preference will be given to candidates with operational experience in the Transportation, Environmental, Infrastructure and Energy sectors

Post-secondary education with a concentration in business. Human resources or project management is considered an asset.

Responsibilities of the Education Manager, are but not limited to:

Budget Management: managing and building annual budget and roster while adhering to organizational goals and objectives.

Consults with CANS Senior Management as necessary to ensure program integrity.

Ability to set priorities, manage complex logistics and pay attention to details

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Good interpersonal and teamwork skills, exceptional capacity for customer service

per hour based on experience.

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Proven ability to work well in a team environment

Diploma or Degree in a Computer Science or Business Field (Data Management, Information Systems, Database Design, IT Project Management).

Graduate program experience at University of Alberta, proficiency with Cascade CMS

Maintaining student records (including statistical support);

Monitoring learner documents (including awards, examinations, withdrawal forms);

Liaise with FGSR, Office of the Registrar and FoMD, or PGME as might be needed;

Provide information and support for prospective and current summer, undergraduate and graduate students

Contributing to the development of undergraduate and graduate courses (including registration, timetabling, wait lists, course evaluation and administration);

Excellent communication (oral and written), time management, and organizational skills

Post-secondary education or proven experience in program delivery/coordination

Weekly lesson delivery on life and other important skills training; healthy eating, conflict resolution, workforce preparedness, etc.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Lived experience working through employment barriers an asset

Ability to maintain and manage confidentiality information

Communicate safety requirements to managers and employees to have consistent and standardized implementation within the area of responsibility.

You have knowledge of relevant industry standards such as NFPA-70E, CSA Z462 and other relevant qualification programs

Experience teaching in a professional setting (ex. technical College) preferred & Knowledge of Operating policies procedures, emergency response and operating processes.

4-6 years Training experience is highly desired. 3 years’ experience working on wind farms, solar farms, or battery storage preferred.

High-Voltage electrical systems experience preferred. Preferably in the renewables sector, including experience with Turbine OEMs or power self-perform operators
