Senior Lean Design Consultant Jobs

Develop (or contribute to) clear and high-quality reports and commercial offers

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

You have experience with multi-terminal HVDC and fault clearing strategies, as well as approaches to enable multi-vendor interoperability

You have experience in working with any of the latest HVDC advancements, such as grid forming, fault blocking, etc

You have experience in working with customers in North America

Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience

Implement best practices and drive innovative solutions to improve production output with quality as the backbone.

Deliver on priorities in the areas of safety, quality, delivery, cost, and cash (SQDC-Cash).

Initiate and drive waste hunting and simplification opportunities across various functions and not limited to supply chain.

Drive ever-improving results by leveraging ATS Business Model (ABM) tools, consulting skills, and change management process.

4-8 years of Operations, Engineering, Supervisory, and/or Management experience in a Lean-Driven Manufacturing Environment

Familiarity with various operational and commercial process and tools (eg. Sales, order processing, distributor management, CRM, ERP)

Demonstrated proficiency in time and project management

Ability to accurately assess key business metrics and situations from a “general manager’s” point of view

Superior training skills and adult learning theory

Project management training and experience

Key technical leader for improvement opportunities. Working with team to support analyzing data, change management, project management and project implementation

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and a minimum of 3 years of prior experience in continuous improvement

Experienced in working with cross-organizational teams.

Drive and support cost reduction, productivity improvement and Safety/Quality improvements for the site (utilizing PDCA, LSS, lean methodologies.).

Support the site team to achieve targeted sustainability goals using CI tools

Experience selling in a retail environment, including commission-based sales with the ability to continuously meet selling objectives

A creative brain and great design instincts. A formal education is considered an asset

Assist in the development and management of the budget for lean and continuous improvement activities.

Participate in the development and delivery of training programs to build Lean and Continuous Improvement capabilities across the organization.

6+ years of experience in Lean and Continuous Improvement, including a track record of successful project delivery and organizational transformation

Strong leadership and coaching skills

Experience with Continuous Improvement methodologies and tools, such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Root Cause Analysis
