Senior It Infrastructure Technical Writer Jobs in Manitoba

5+ years of experience as a Technical Writer, Creator, Communications, or Issues Management or similar role

Knowledge of Organizational Change Management principles and practices to contribute to material content for the program is also desired

The candidate should demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and negotiation skills, facilitation skills, and stakeholder management skills

They must demonstrate experience creating content in an engineering, IT, or technical environment

Other desktop publishing software experience would be beneficial

Senior Technical Writer – Mandatory Skills

Experience in using content management systems, and content production processes to publish content

Experience and Skill Set Requirements

Understand content lifecycle management and can advocate for it amongst complex groups of product/service stakeholders.

Experience designing content to meet user needs and make complex, technical language and process simple to understand

Experience with medium-to-large sized product development / service design projects

Experience with Figma user interface design software

Ability to independently lead large/cross-functional projects, manage and mobilize a team of individuals with varying experience and skills levels

Working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall Project Management methodologies, practices, and deliverables

Responsible for timely and appropriate resolution of and IT tickets, system enhancements, system patching & vulnerability management, and change requests

Work under the guidance of Director, Infrastructure & IT Operations to prepare reports, dashboards, presentations, proposals, and manage delegated responsibilities

Qualification and Experience Required to Perform the Job:

Configure, manage & monitor IT systems (AWS/Azure, VMware, Storage) and equipment in a hands-on capacity
