Residence Services Lead Jobs

Evidence of essential leadership, communication, education, and counseling skills; Proficiency in communication technologies (email, cell phone etc)

Development, implementation and ongoing administration of resident care by utilizing the nursing process, critical thinking, and problem-solving and decision-making skills

Ensures resident care is managed with a focus on customer satisfaction and continual improvement

Participation will be required in Care home committees, resident/family conferences, staff education, research and other structured committees relevant to this position

Proactively continues to educate self on providing quality care and improving professional skills.

Previous experience or a genuine interest in providing care and leadership in the following areas:

Knowledge and experience in the approaches and methods of operational management

Knowledge of crisis management, conflict resolution practices and emergency management protocols

Knowledge of financial management principles

Knowledge of human resource management principles

Knowledge of the principles of the protection of people and property, as well as risk management

Minimum of three years relevant experience

Managing all aspects of lock hardware and software management in Residence;

Administering effective inventory management processes and practices;

Provide regular feedback, follow up on areas for improvement and manage performance issues;

In collaboration with other Residence Managers, conduct fire drills & resident safety training exercises as required;

3-5 years of relevant experience leading and managing staff, ideally in a unionized environment in a service field or student residence

Interprets and administers collective agreements. Provides input into site-wide budget requirements, monitors expenditures, and provides analysis reports to the Manager.

Participates in committees and meetings involving clients, contractors and residents/patients and other stakeholders, as designated by the Manager.

Demonstrated ability to lead, plan, manage, implement, organize and problem solve.

Working knowledge of applicable regulations, legislation and collective agreements.

Build on your career experience as you:

Implement the day-to day operations of housekeeping services for an assigned site and /or site-wide facilities/building.

One or more years of experience consulting organization(s) to achieve outcomes that impact service delivery and related digital products.

Experience managing a portfolio of clients in a customer service environment.
