Quality Assurance Test Manager Jobs in Nova Scotia

Hands on experience with Jira and Zephyr or similar test and defect management tools.

Proven test & defect management skills;

Solid time management and prioritization skills;

Management (creation and ongoing maintenance) of test account data & test resources.

Manage performance of test resources including coaching, motivating, mentoring, goal setting and performance reviews;

Work with product owners to validate the testability of business requirements;

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering

5+ years' relevant work experience

Develop standardized production, quality, and customer-service standards

Identify potential risks before they become a problem, focusing on root cause analysis and preventive action

Perform internal and external quality audits and compile detailed reports of findings

Build a strong team through coaching, mentoring, specific training and performance evaluations

Effective collaboration, coaching, goal setting, performance management, and performance reviews

Strong excel and Microsoft skills

Experience with continuous improvement initiatives

Experience in manufacturing and quality control

Ability to play an important role in the development of a young, growing company

Complete oversight of QMS system

Excellent problem-solving and change management skills.

Demonstrated leadership skills, including employee development.

Detail oriented with strong analytical skills.

Good communication / listening skills.

Excellent organizational and motivational skills.

Experience with Microsoft Office products.

Certification or formalized education in Quality Management Systems is required.

A minimum of six years of progressive management experience.

Demonstrated knowledge of Quality Management System elements is required.

Demonstrated sound organizational and management skills are required.

Monitor process performance and product quality to ensure a state of control and compliance to requirements/specifications is maintained.
