Bachelor’s Degree in Business Operations / Finance / Management; MBA is desirable

Project Management Professional certification is an asset

10+ year's project and program management experience

Establish a governance and framework for robust project management

Communication and Relationship Management - Demonstrated experience to act independently and make decisions that achieve optimal results with minimal supervision

Vendor, Procurement, and Contract Management - Experience interpreting, analyzing and managing vendor commitments to ensure contractual obligations are met

Experience and Skill Set Requirements

Project management and vendor management

Developing and presenting ministry-specific dashboards, reports, and other project management collateral

Financial management of project as necessary or if needed

Experience in systems analysis, requirements gathering, design, project management and application development work at the senior technical or middle management level;

Experience with contract and vendor management

PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is an asset.

Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Computer Science/Management or a relevant program of study;

Experience writing business cases to translate business requirements into technical solutions as well as efficiency gains based on business outcomes

Ability to direct and manage the planning, development and implementation of information management strategies and information systems initiatives;

Drive the continuous improvement of product/project management and business analysis capabilities identifying opportunities for efficiencies and improvements supporting effective product/project delivery

Excellent analytical, time management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously with tight deadlines

Champion product/project management and resource capacity management across the technology team while effectively aligning resources against prioritization

Manage IT/technology department portfolio review meetings providing progress status updates to Senior Management

Project Management Professional (PMP) and Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent

Manage products, programs and projects as required based on resource needs

Minimum 5 years project accounting or project management experience for large complex projects

Experience in cash flow management for large public organizations

Knowledge of large capital projects, tracking, reporting and analyzing

Knowledge of MEDITECH financial modules

Experience in PMO/project audits required

Experience with government ministries for large scale projects

Develops and updates an asset and infrastructure management plan.

Master's degree in project management is an asset;

Management and coordination of territory management activities;

Have a minimum of ten (10) years' experience in activities related to the position, such as:

Experience in a municipal environment is considered an asset.

Interpersonal communication skills to help build strong relationships with diverse groups of people;
