Assist with other tasks as directed by management

Ensuring part quality requirements are maintained

Escalate complex problems to manager

Support factory needs and requirements

Dimensionally confirm production parts meet drawing requirements (sign-off on drawings)

Proven leadership experience leading and managing a team, including coaching and developing staff, performance management, and training

Work closely with the Project Management Office (PMO) and Procurement teams to ensure necessary supplies are available to meet production schedule.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or relevant discipline

Lead and manage a team of operators, technicians, contractors, and other personnel.

Provide guidance, coaching, and training to enhance the skills and performance of the operations and engineering teams.

Minimum of 5 years‘ experience of production management experience in a manufacturing environment.

Maintain equipment and inventory levels to manage and maintain current and future projects.

Develop the skills and expertise of the department

Manage the production of all products with all production personnel with respect to quality, technology, training, maintenance, safety and the environment.

Produce products per scheduled forecast in order to supply customers and fully meet their quality, service and delivery requirements.

Resolve workers’ complaints and / or submit unsettled complaints to the General Manager.

· Knowledgeable on all aspects of plant operations and management

· 2-3 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Ensure all plant personnel are operating in compliance with plant procedures and customer or regulatory requirements.

Guide department managers in development of labor usage strategies to better utilize resources.

Provide overall leadership, direction, and coordination for Plant Operation, including Production, Maintenance, Quality, Safety, Scheduling, and Special Projects.

Must have a valid forklift license to move material across the production floor.

Drive customer experience through low error rates on product quality, and best-in-class product look & feel

Ensure adherence to the manufacturing budget, as established with the Director of Production, Manufacturing Manager, and manufacturing Sr Manager

3-5 years of experience managing production in a manufacturing plant; preferably within the Food & Beverage industry.

Professional certifications and/or licenses with Lean Six Sigma preferred

Establishes and builds working relationships with other departmental personnel, such as Maintenance, Engineering, Finance, Planning and Quality to meet production schedules.
