Manage stock levels, lot inbound inventory in the respective warehouse location.

Post-secondary education is an asset.

Deal directly with customers and vendors by telephone, electronically and face to face

Communicate and coordinate with internal departments. Interact with traders, warehouse, and quality assurance departments to provide updates on all orders

- Experience with inventory management

- Lead overall inventory management through mix of visual management and systems implementation

- Assist in broader push towards perpetual inventory management

- Collaborate with MSR management & shop leadership to ensure project specific procurement needs are met

- Provide periodic reporting and ad hoc analysis highlighting business insights to MSR management

- Strong computer skills (Strong excel literacy required. Intermediate skills related to Word, Outlook)

Works with Procurement Planner to complete cycle counting requirements

Responsible for accuracy of data entry in the AS400 and CHEP entries. Works with team to ensure correct receiving paperwork.

Maintains the training database/documents, ensures required certifications up to date and training scheduled.

Performs administrative and clerical duties in support of function, including data entry, filing and any other work as assigned.

Excellent computer skills including Office Suite, AS400 and the ability to learn new systems and train others.

Works with scheduling and manufacturing to ensure product available for manufacturing, sales, and material replenishment.

Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience.

Manages complexity - Making sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.

$22 to $29 per hour depending on experience

Previous supply chain, or a business background. Having inventory knowledge is a bonus.

7:30 am-4:00 pm, or 8:00 am-4:30 pm

12 months contract to start

Data Entry – Add, Update information into a Backorder File

Experience in Microsoft products (Excel, Outlook, TEAMS)

Supply Chain or Customer Service Experience preferred

Review inventory against backorders and work with Supply Chain and Customer Service to determine how to allocate inventory

Identify product availability dates and communicate to Customer Service and Sales Reps

Advise customers the ETAs for back ordered items

- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to inventory management and ocean shipping

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field

- Experience in managing ocean shipping operations, including documentation, customs compliance, and coordination with logistics partners

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners

- Develop and execute effective inventory planning strategies to meet customer demands and minimize stockouts

- Coordinate and execute timely and accurate shipping activities, including documentation, customs compliance, and ocean shipping arrangements

Basic knowledge ofExcel 2016 / Outlook 2016 / Word 2016

Respond to emails and queued call inquiries promptly and accurately through telephone and email in English and French

Validation of electronic and manual orders/returns when needed

Validation of confidential information and while identifying fraudulent activities

Execution of reports when needed

Process manual adjustments accurately and in detail (credits, debt or claims) when applicable

Diploma/Degree in Business and/or Supply Chain Management

Negotiate with suppliers to obtain best value (price, delivery, and service) to meet project requirements (budget and required dates).

5+ years procurement experience in a manufacturing environment

Knowledge of manufacturing processes and required materials.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills (English-written and verbal)

Project management/stakeholder engagement skills to drive initiatives to completion and facilitate discussions toward resolution

Effective Change Management and Critical Thinking/Problem Solving skills

Collaborate with SSW with contract commitment and compliance management;

Contribute to strategic and transactional management of supply chain functions at THP with SSW encompassing sourcing, purchasing, logistics, and data management

Provide support and leadership with the OR sub-committee on effective strategic sourcing and contract management to maximize financial opportunities

Previous Project Analyst, Supply Chain (Logistics and/or Strategic Sourcing), Quality Improvement, and/or Supervisory experiences would be an asset
