Evaporator detailed scrap analysis (daily),

Continuous improvement items in Evap/ GMV cells and on HVAC assembly lines (ie rack modifications, pallet trials, cycle time/microstop observations),

Writing reports to summarize findings and propose changes/recommendations to management

Effective time management & organization

3+ years’ experience in a similar role

Previous experience in an agile environment

High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, powerpoint, Visio (Or Gliffy))

Strong working knowledge of Asset Management Systems in managing Process Safety Risk

Lead the implementation of Process Safety Management Systems

Significant experience and demonstrated capabilities with:

SCE management systems and the identification and Operationalization of the integrity assurance activities for Safety Critical Equipment

Leading the implementation of Process Safety Management systems

Effectively communicate the results from Process Hazard Analysis to the responsible managers as well as the Front Line organizations

Mentor and develop team members in technical knowledge and skills, Principle Based Management® culture and leadership.

Bachelor’s degree in chemical, electrical, electronic engineering, or instrumentation Diploma with process controls specialization supplemented by related work experience.

At least three-five (3-5) years of experience in a similar role (DCS, PLC, instrumentation, automation)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience leading a team or supervisory experience.

Experience in business case development and working in a large project work process is considered a strong asset.

Support business unit with root cause training and use of enterprise incident management software

Support business unit Risk Management Plans and provide technical support for preventative / mitigative controls

Proven experience with and understanding of risk scenario development techniques, including assignment of probabilities and consequences

Depending on qualifications, the successful candidate may be offered a position at a more appropriate level and/or ladder.

6 years of Pipelines, oil & gas or petrochemical experience

Proven experience leading safety related investigation using a variety of Root Cause Analysis methodologies (e.g., TapRoot, 5-Why, etc.)

2+ years in Process Safety Management preferred

Collaborate with multiple interfaces in coordinating and supporting Management of Change (MOC) activities at the facility, including Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR)

4 - 8 years of relevant work experience

Experience with Risk Assessment techniques such a HAZOPs and LOPA mandatory

Knowledge in Quantitative Risk Assessments, Bowtie analysis and SIL verification considered an asset

Proven experience with Incident investigation tools such as RCA, TapRoot ® - nice to have

Work with the Manager, Process Safety Management to develop corporate procedures and practices for establishing guidance for safe operation.

6-10 years of experience in new process design/commissioning and support of plant operations & projects

Facilitate risk assessment studies (e.g. PHA, LOPA's etc.) for proper hazard identification and associated risk reduction and/or mitigation.

Participate as a team member on auditing of the ERCO sites to ensure PSM program compliance.

Represent ERCO on external committees and at conferences.

Bachelor of Chemical Engineering is required

Knowledge of Process Safety Management and relevant codes and standards (CSA, CCPS, API, ASME etc.)

Assist with Process Safety and HSE/Risk Management consulting projects.

Engineering degree or technologist with experience in engineering or operations.

Excellent skills in facilitating group meetings.
