Process Design Specialist Jobs

A university degree, completion of a college diploma, or combination of related education and experience

Responsible for Design Process and Requirements Management (DPRM) activities that support:

Manages interface between systems, components, and project/product management organizations.

In-depth knowledge of BWR plant systems, including Mechanical, Electrical, and I&C design bases and interfacing design requirements.

Perform identification of verification and validation (V&V) requirements at the plant, system, and component level.

1 year experience in an engineering capacity

Experience with Nuclear Island, Turbine Island and BOP plant systems and with the associated safety analyses design bases.

Typically 7+ years of relevant experience and/or certification in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Seasoned professional with a combination of education, experience and industry knowledge.

Leads change management programs of varying scope and type, including readiness assessments, planning, stakeholder management, execution, evaluation and sustainment of initiatives.

Develops and manages comprehensive information management systems; designs and/or leads initiatives to improve processes, analysis and reporting.

Collaborates in the design, implementation and management of core business/group processes.

Supports management of processes using established methodologies and tools/system/technology.

Previous knowledge or experience with basic arithmetic and equivalent competency

Maintain accurate records of the locomotive requirements in LOP and OP, as well as locomotives in Low GTM services

Prior experience in CP Operations/Transportation and Service Design departments considered an asset

Working knowledge of CP's network and general train design

Knowledge of green building practices and certification systems (LEED, Green Globes, ect.);

5+ years of experience in a role with process simulation.

Technical background with experience in Process industries, such as Chemicals, Refining or Gas Processing.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Evaluate existing products and develop strategies to drive towards a lifecycle simulation platform in line with AVEVA’s strategy.

Responsible for product positioning in the marketplace and assisting with overall business plans.

5+ years of Maintenance and Work Management experience

Knowledge of ISO 5500 (Asset Management)

Experience and understanding of change management methodologies and practices

Develop and maintain Work Management and MOC process documentation and training materials

Develop solutions, validate and provide testing of process changes or tool enhancements and communicate those across the impacted areas (change management)

Author high-quality regulatory submissions and technical reports; independently prepare and present data/findings at department, project team, and senior management meetings.

Experience in performing process characterization (PC) studies, process performance qualification (PPQ), and other late-stage development activities.

Lead and manage CDMOs in the areas of biologics and conjugation manufacturing.

Manage tech transfer and process development activities to enable regulatory filing.

Develop plan and lead process development and manufacturing of antibody and antibody-conjugates and associated CMC requirements.

Experience working effectively with contract manufacturers (CDMOs).

OAA or OALA Membership, LEED Accreditation, and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications would be considered assets.

Strong problem-solving, analytical and project management skills, including budget development and management.

Exposure to operations, maintenance and construction management standards and practices, including the ability to understand construction, operating and maintenance documents.

Manages consultant teams in the development of design documents, guidelines and specifications to support business case development for new transit infrastructure.

Knowledge of multi-discipline architecture and engineering design concepts, principles and practices relevant to transit facilities.

Knowledge of Contract Law, the Ontario Environmental Assessment Act, and the Occupational Health & Safety Act of Ontario.

Manage QA team and coordinate QA activities in absence of QA Manager

Desirable 0-5 years’ experience in metallurgy, steelmaking, casting, hot rolling, pipe forming, or welding

Demonstrated experience using MS office tools and Minitab to analyze numerical data and draw conclusions

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Knowledge of API 5L, CSA Z245.1, CSA G40.20 specifications an asset.

Build optimized process models and simulations for carbon management processes, specifically CO2 capture and conversion.

Apply engineering principles to design and build process simulations for technologies related to carbon management.

Use project management tools to set objectives, define experimental scope, and execute projects on time to achieve technical solutions.

Work with colleagues to ensure proper project execution and technology development to meet milestones and deadlines.

Establish collaborations with industrial partners and academic research groups in the field of CO2 capture and conversion.

3+ years of brand experience
