Experience using small equipment |Ex: skid steer, zoom boom and aerial work platforms

Valid Standard First Aid, Aerial Work Platform and Fall Protection certification

Good communication skills to receive and relay information to and from crew members, foremen and supervisors

Project Management of plant improvement and capital projects.

Create and manage production and labour schedules.

Coordinate with the Purchasing Coordinator, Sales Manager, Engineering, Sales and PMs.

Technical diploma or ten (10) years related experience in an Operations capacity

Proven ability to manage and supervise a staff of 40+ employees

Manufacturing or Precast experience considered an asset.

1-2 years of experience is preferred

Experience working in a production line setting

Prior experience in a precast plant would be an asset

These are long term positions that will likely continue throughout the Fall and Winter.

Monday - Friday schedules - no shift work!

A minimum of 10 years related experience and/or training in project management and/or estimating.

Effectively manages and mentors project management staff

Provides project status reports to General Management

Responsible for cost management of precast manufacturing

Responsible for cost management of all aspects precast construction projects from inception to completion

Technical degree in engineering or construction management.

Supervises daily production schedule requirements within the plant and liaises with sales and project management teams to forecast future production requirements.

Oversees the hiring, performance management and progressive discipline processes.

Actively liaises with union representatives to effectively manage grievances.

Minimum of ten (10) years related operations experience in the manufacturing, construction and/or concrete products industry.

Collaborative self-starter with excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.

Proven experience successfully implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
