Overview A Patient Safety Specialist is a healthcare professional who is responsible for ensuring the safety of patients in a healthcare setting. They are responsible for developing and implementing safety protocols, monitoring patient safety, and providing education and training to staff and patients. They also work to identify and reduce risks associated with medical care, and to ensure that patient safety is maintained. Detailed Job Description A Patient Safety Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing safety protocols, monitoring patient safety, and providing education and training to staff and patients. They are also responsible for identifying and reducing risks associated with medical care, and ensuring that patient safety is maintained. They must be knowledgeable about the latest safety regulations and standards, and must be able to develop and implement safety protocols that meet these standards. They must also be able to monitor patient safety and provide feedback to staff and patients. Job Skill Requirements• Knowledge of safety regulations and standards

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, safety, or a related field
• Certification in patient safety or a related field
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting
• Knowledge of safety regulations and standards
• Knowledge of medical terminology
