Direct the set-up of the press based on instructions.

Inspect and make adjustments to print quality and color based on color guide or match print.

Proven leadership, organizational and time management skills in an industrial kitchen environment

2-4 years of culinary experience working in a high-volume kitchen, preferably in a remote lodge environment

Food Safe Certification is required

First Aid Certification is an asset

Journeyman certification preferred, an apprenticeship program for cooks or other program in cooking

Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written

Minimum 2 years’ kitchen experience serving

Must have experience with breakfast menu

Proven organizational and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of basic butchering, food allergies, seasonal ingredients and menus

Prepares orders according to established standards and customer requests

Ensures cleanliness, proper handling and maintenance of kitchen equipment, utensils and work areas

Experience working in a fast-paced environment

Culinary training from a recognized institution preferred, or equivalent experience

Minimum 1 year experience in a professional kitchen

2+ year's food service experience as a 2nd Cook preferably in a large remote camp environment.

Ability to manage change effectively

Ability to work away from home in a camp environment.

Clean, peel, slice, and trim food items using manual and electric appliances

Ability to quickly retain knowledge and skill

Strong verbal and written communication skills
