A very good understanding of sewing methods and systems for outerwear styles and knowledge of Quality Assurance systems and inventory Management.

Performs other reasonable duties as assigned by management.

5 years’ experience in a production/plant managerial capacity at a senior level.

Excellent common sense & sound judgment, decision-making abilities, interpersonal & analytical skills, and ability to evaluate options and implement solutions.

Hands-on Experience applying Lean Manufacturing principles and tools.

Experience in leading operations of a high-end outerwear manufacturing with multi-style and quality production ability.

Management and development of production employees by training, coaching, and counseling employees.

Troubleshoots problems by problem solving and communicating effectively and promptly to manager

Other duties as required by Manager

3-5 years related experience in production

Bachelor degree in related business field or equivalent work experience

Working knowledge of common document pre-flighting

Knowledge of manufacturing machinery and processes

Knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations including W.H.M.I.S

Knowledge of the Labour Relations Act

Assist Plant Manager with overseeing daily activities of the plant operations and production

Assist Plant Manager in initiating and overseeing process improvements to ensure continuous enhancements to operational efficiencies and customer satisfaction

Strong leadership and problem solving skills

Knowledge of TS16949 policies & procedures

Automotive - Press and Robotic MIG welding experience is a must
