An Associate's Degree and at least three months experience working with children, or;

A High School Diploma or G.E.D with at least six months of experience working with children.

Review medication records daily for errors and/or omissions, report any discrepancies to Program Manager, and document on the compliance review calendar.

Use good interpersonal communication skills to gain resident cooperation and resolve resident conflicts.

Knowledge of or experience in needs of immigrant and refugee seniors would be an asset.

Minimum 2-years’ experience in an office environment.

Exceptional communication skills in both English at a professional level;

Professional telephone manners and interpersonal skills.

Experience working in funded programs and non-profit, preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Fitness Certification or one (1) year Coaching or Recreational Program Instructor experience.

Responsible for the administration of the department, including check-ins of customers, data entry, daily reports and bookings.

Current Standard First Aid/CPR/AED Certification or equivalent (including CPR C).

Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

A minimum of 2-years’ experience in program management;

Strong organizational and time management skills;

Proven recent program development experience, with knowledge of federal, provincial, United Way and other funding sources;

Prepares budget forecasts of assigned programs and monitors program expenditures, together with the finance department;

Conducts contract negotiations under the direction of the Senior Manager and Director.

A minimum of 3-years’ experience working in a community based non-profit society or related experience;

You will support your patients and clients by

Selecting and carrying out activities;

Assists patients with meals by serving and collecting meal trays and feeding designated patients.

Escorts patients off unit for treatment or diagnostic procedures; transports patients utilizing mechanical aids such as wheelchairs and/or stretchers.

Assists care team with routine search of rooms and patient belongings in order to maintain unit safety.

Assists patients with retrieval/storage and/or relocation of personal effects to different rooms within the unit.

Participates in quality improvement activities as assigned by providing input and feedback on department initiatives.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
