Ocean Freight Manager Jobs

Strong negotiation skills and extensive sales experience.

Minimum 5 years of sales experience.

Minimum 3 years of logistics industry experience.

Experience in creating and executing a sales plan.

Experience using systems including but not limited to Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, TMS systems.

Strong organization and planning skills we well as effective written and verbal communication skills.

Supports management with risk assessment and mitigation activities.

Build and manage relationships with external carriers

Five (5) years of experience with a 3PL OR in a Transportation Department within a corporate organization

MUST have experience with LTL and TL in Canada

Strong computer skills including MS Office and MS Excel.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to others in a cross-functional environment.

Undergraduate degree in Business or Logistics Management an asset

Manage ocean freight carrier capacity allocation and coordinate/plan with commercial teams

Manage ocean freight rate requests, including tenders, RFP’s and agent network inquiries as needed

Minimum 2 years of ocean import freight experience
