Experience collaborating/working with various stakeholders: IT professionals, Business and Clinical Senior Management teams, Executives; and vendor partners.

Interfaces to support clinical operations, and management and evaluation reporting.

Strong knowledge and experience working with relational databases (particularly, automated formatting of data for importing and exporting purposes).

Define data requirements through interpretation of technical and business requirements and/or direct interviews/requirements gathering.

Translates user requirements to technical requirements for implementation; designs reports and researches solutions.

Supports stakeholders with operational reporting requirements through the analysis of data with a deep understanding of performance metrics and benchmarking.

Experience gathering business requirements from key stakeholders

Basic knowledge and/or experience on ML/AI projects

Gather business requirements directly from key stakeholders

Experience performing data cleaning, preprocessing, and transformation tasks to ensure data quality and consistency

Experience creating and following documentation guidelines and development best practices

Experience implementing data lakes and data warehouses in cloud environments

5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst

Advanced or Expert skills in one or more of the following: SAS, R, SQL, Python

Experience working with health administrative data and data warehouses

Experience manipulating and compiling large databases

Experience writing programs and queries to manipulate and compile large health datasets and analyze the date accordingly

Experience working within the BC Health Sector is preferred

Strong time management skills with the ability to manage own workload and priorities

Communicate findings to all levels of management

Assist Field team members (e.g. Track Supervisors, Senior Managers, etc.) with report interpretation and oversight on accurate and timely reporting

Between 1 to 3 years of data analytics and reporting experience

Experience using data reporting tools

Railway operations and engineering experience*

Evaluate the effectiveness of data management systems and processes and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, identify gaps, and develop strategies for data integration, optimization, and modernization.

Develop and implement data governance policies, procedures, and controls to ensure data integrity, compliance, and accessibility across the organization.

Knowledge of SQL language and at least one quality or data management tool (Ataccama, Collibra, or other)

Knowledge of wealth management, or investment in general, an asset

Desire to increase one's understanding of the field of wealth management, required

10 years of experience as an IT business analyst, of which at least 5 years specifically as a data analyst

Assemble and maintain a detailed portrait of data quality with the help of different tools

Work collaboratively with data stewards, solution architects, data architect, and data modelers

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics or Applied Mathematics or equivalent experience

1 - 2 years' Data Analysis experience

Understand the day-to-day issues that our business faces, which can be better understood with data

Compile and analyze data related to business' issues

Develop clear visualizations to convey complicated data in a straightforward fashion

Experience with SQL and database management systems

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Experience with data mining and data cleaning

Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, Tableau, and Power BI
