Assembling and installing machines then testing them to make sure they are working correctly

Managing the layout and placement of equipment and machinery in factory settings to ensure minimum downtime

Identifying and repairing problematic parts of a machine by running tests, making temporary repairs, or installing new parts

Dismantling older machines and replacing them with new ones

Overseeing preventive maintenance by identifying and correcting potential issues, removing worn out pieces and lubricating mechanical parts

Post-secondary education in a related field.

3– 5 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment.

Possess a valid Millwright Certification (433-A).

Maintain all equipment and systems.

Must work in full compliance with the approved safety regulations.

Responsible for Food Safety and reporting any non-compliance issues immediately.

2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing facility as a maintenance mechanic millwright, industrial millwright, maintenance millwright, millwright mechanic, etc.

Has a diverse experience in welding (tig/arc), fabricating, troubleshooting, repair, rebuilding, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical work and general facility maintenance.

Hands-on knowledge of pumps, conveyors, agitators, gear boxes, meat grinders and compressors.

Proven experience in operating a tow motor and aerial work platform (scissor lift).

Firm knowledge and understanding of HACCP would be an asset.

Strong verbal and written communications skills; ability to speak, read and write English, and to follow written and verbal instructions.

•Three to five years of related experience in a heavy industrial setting with

•Must have previous welding experience

•Previous experience with robots and automated systems

•Provide machine repair services as directed on all manufacturing equipment

•Provide maintenance support for manufacturing equipment

3-4 years of experience in a manufacturing facility as a maintenance mechanic millwright, industrial millwright, maintenance millwright, millwright mechanic, etc.

Diverse experience in welding (tig/arc), fabricating, troubleshooting, repair, rebuilding, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical work, and general facility maintenance.

Reads and interprets drawings, circuit diagrams, and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations. (knowledge required)

Hands-on knowledge of pumps, conveyors, agitators, gearboxes, meat grinders, and compressors.

Minimum 3 years' experience as a maintenance millwright.

Must be able to understand the work order requirements;

Support the development and training of Apprentice Millwrights.

Perform spare part rebuilds and fabrication as required using shop equipment, (welding machine, lathe, milling machine, measurement equipment, and hand tools).

Disassemble and reassemble equipment for relocation, and or new equipment installation when required.

Perform assigned PMs and planned work on equipment in a safe and timely manner.

2-3 Years' experience in a Manufacturing environment

Has experience in safely operating shop equipment (lathe, mill saw, milling machine etc.)

Welding experience is an asset.

The Millwright is responsible for performing maintenance activities to maintain all primary and support production equipment to produce quality products.

Support all predictive and preventive maintenance programs

Troubleshoot conveyor belts, packaging machines, labelers, hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, valves, cylinders, conveyance systems, gear boxes and pump.

Operate lift machines as required in the performance of job duties

Report non-conformance or other irregularities to the Maintenance Manager

Sound understanding of conveyors, pumps, granulators, pneumatics, and working knowledge of industrial tools

Experience with Mig, Tig and Arc welding equipment

Proven ability to maintain internal and regulatory policies, procedures and requirements

Read and interpret blueprints, schematic diagrams and drawings to determine work procedures
