Minimum of seven years experience as a Medical Physicist

Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to relate to staff from multiple disciplines

PhD in medical physics or a related field

Evidence of innovation in medical physics such as peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations

Fellowship in the Canadian College of Physicists in Medicine (FCCPM) is an asset

Management of all patient appointments appropriately and providers schedules as per our SOP.

Medical Office Experience and/or Medical Office Assistant Diploma.

Previous Personal Support Worker or Medical Laboratory experience is considered an asset.

Previous experience as a Medical Assistant (MA) or Practical Nurse is considered an asset.

Proficient knowledge of Electronic Medical Records system (knowledge of Accuro is considered an asset).

Sound knowledge of medical terminology.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Minimum of 10 years’ experience as an operational health physicist working in CANDU power plants or equivalent nuclear industry.

Undergraduate degree in Health Physics or equivalent qualifications.

Experience in dealing with a large organization to address broad scope radiation safety needs

Experience in applying high radiation safety standards expected in the nuclear power plants.

Effective communication of the radiation safety compliance requirements to the organization.

Ability to effectively address worker radiation safety concerns by explaining program application requirements and safety principles

Expert-level skills and experience with object-oriented coding in Python including with NumPy, Matplotlib, Pandas, SciPy libraries.

Intermediate (expert preferred) level experience with Linux, very familiar with shell scripting (Bash, zsh, or other)

Intermediate (expert preferred) experience programming with C++

Experience setting up experiments to test research hypotheses

Experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Well-developed communication skills in English at a fluent or professional level; able to be assertive and respectful

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Developing and analyzing theoretical models that are tailored to the capabilities of superconducting architecture.

A Ph.D. in Physics or a related field.

Strong theoretical background in quantum mechanics, quantum field theory, and superconducting architecture.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or C++.
