Interface with Li-Cycle management, business, and engineering teams to resolve project related issues.

Minimum 5 years' experience as a mechanical engineer in an industrial manufacturing design or operating environment

Experience in full project life-cycle execution (i.e. planning through commercialization)

Knowledge of industry best practices

Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs

Strong analytical, negotiation and creative problem-solving skills

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent education / experience.

10 years of experience in the cement industry (Supervisor and Mechanical Manager included – 3 years minimum as a manager)

Experience applying FMEA techniques and knowledge of basic problem-solving tools

Experience and good level of knowledge of Predictive tools.

Knowledge and experience in Condition Monitoring Techniques (Dalog, Vibration/Oil Analysis, NDT)

Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Cost Basics preferred

Utilize Daily Management with crew to track Key Performance Indicators & drive improvement

Use Maintenance Management System to schedule work and document its completion

Accountable for performance management – including discipline, reviews, development – for Trades

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Production

Accountable for exercising effective leadership – leverage potential by engaging commitment, aligning judgment, and developing capabilities

Good oral communication skills are required to work effectively with internal stakeholders.

Has basic experience with, or a willingess to learn how to operate, an accounting or inventory management program

Receive, count, unload and organize shipments of commercial and residential equipment, as needed

Assist with regular inventory counts and organization, as needed

Organize loading dock/garage and storage rooms on an ongoing basis, and whenever new shipments arrive

Help stock, re-stock, move or organize equipment & supplies

Sweep, mop and perform general cleaning/tidying/organizing of the workshop, showroom, and inventory storage spaces as directed by Zuccarini staff
