Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering.

Fundamental knowledge of computer software (Windows, Word, Excel).

Sets up laboratory equipment and instrumentation required to perform tests, investigations, research and/or process control

Documents results of tests and analyses

Prepares samples for use in processing materials, following standardized formulas or experimental procedures

Quality Management of materials testing laboratory, including preparation for CCIL audits and certifications and routine calibrations and equipment maintenance.

Ability to act as a Local Radiation Safety Officer and manage CCIL Certification audits.

Strong communication skills and leadership capabilities

Working with a team of highly skilled engineers, technicians, surveyors and drafters to provide excellent client service

Experience performing field reviews of civil construction projects would be an asset

Ability to work long hours during peak season to fulfil project requirements

Strong time management and organizational ability

Experience with various laboratory procedures and data entry in Excel (or equivalent) is required

Strong analytical and aseptic technique, detail-oriented and strong time management skills and ability to balance competing priorities.

A minimum of 2 years of experience working in an analytical laboratory and/or in a biosafety level 2 laboratory.

Experience with chemical reagent preparation and media preparation.

Laboratory safety and good laboratory practices (GLP) skills.

In preparing reagents and equipment for teaching laboratories;

With routine checks on basic benchtop equipment (hotplates, pH meters, balances, etc.);

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Minimum Experience: 3 years in cellular or biological manufacturing with laboratory responsibilities.

Minimum Skills: Demonstrated knowledge base with Good Manufacturing Practices (e.g., cGMPs, GLPs, GDPs).

Performs all product manufacturing duties in cGMP facilities, adhering to all applicable gowning and safety requirements.

Experience with standard operating procedures in a cGMP laboratory setting.

Knowledge of drug development and manufacturing.

Strong time management skills including ability to multitask and prioritize

Manage inventory of processing material and necessary lab supplies

Perform sanitation activities as per GPP requirements

Perform isolation tasks as assigned by manager in accordance to relevant SOPs; formulations include precise mixing of cannabinoids and solvents.

Ensure 100% compliance with QA requirements during day-to-day activities

Minimum BSc. with 1+ years laboratory, production/manufacturing, or pharmaceutical experience

Grade 12 education or recognized equivalent

Experience with Clinical Trial Execution

Works collaboratively with the Provincial Lab Manager for simple equipment-related problem solving.

Manages routine maintenance of manikins and partial task trainers according to established policies and procedures.

In collaboration with the Provincial Lab Manager, manages equipment and supply lists for lab courses and updates as necessary.

Manages consumable supplies inventory and ensures that all supplies are current.

Ensures all equipment is operating properly prior to lab.

Manage and control Makerspace specific co-curricular record certifications.

Maintain equipment, safety procedures, first aid certification, Material Data Sheets, safety training, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) personal and for customers.

A minimum of three years of practical experience with creative software, graphic user interfaces (GUI), raster image processing (RIP) software.

Practical experience with machine tools, power tools, hand tools, CNC machines, machine setup, machine maintenance.

Work with faculty to ensure that layout and setup for any specific workshop, semester long project or other event determined.

Ensure the equipment and space is organized, clean and always complies with all health & safety regulations.

Assist in logistics and planning of ExoShield manufacturing process and supply chain management
