Machine Learning Research Scientist Jobs

Minimum eight (8) years’ experience working in an Operations Research/ Machine Learning environment

3-5+ years of experience leading and delivering enterprise-scale operations research/ML projects and facilitating collaboration across teams

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, along with experience using machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)

Solid knowledge of statistical analysis and experimental design to evaluate model and algorithm performance effectively

Recent experience with distillation of NLP tasks from larger models to task specific smaller models is an asset

Effective communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience in translating complex analysis results to a non-technical audience

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify growth opportunities and insights through personalized user experiences and targeted marketing initiatives

Previous experience in machine learning, data science, or a related field, specifically in a marketing or growth context

Experience with marketing analytics & audience building, Large Language Models, propensity modeling, reinforcement learning, bandit algorithms, and/or personalized marketing algorithms

Extensive experience (5+ years) in machine learning, data science, or a related field, specifically in a marketing or growth context

Develop and implement machine learning models for user conversion optimization, personalization, propensity modeling, and next best action recommendations

Autonomous driving R&D experience. Leadership or management experience with a R&D team for proof-of-concept deliveries.

At least 10 years of in-depth hands-on working experience in Python, C/C++, TensorFlow, PyTorch, MXNet, Keras, etc.

Proven experience of translating ideas into research prototypes quickly.

Provide leadership, collaboration, and mentorship to the research and development team within the Computer Vision and Deep Learning group

Support overall research, engineering, and architecture efforts

Experienced with writing computer code, querying databases, and using computer languages like Python and SQL query.

Experience using Python libraries to create machine learning / statistical models (scikit-learn, SciPy, pandas, TensorFlow, XGBoost, etc).

Experience with time series data is considered an asset.

Strong problem-solving skills: An ability to approach complex problems analytically and derive actionable insights from data.

Work closely with senior data scientists on real-world projects, contributing to the development and improvement of the AI/ML model performance.

Conduct research and analysis to identify patterns and insights from time series data to improve forecasting accuracy.

Working or internship experience at industry research labs or technology companies is an asset.

Experience building large scale machine learning solutions for decision making, planning, reasoning, autonomous driving, operations research, or multi-agent systems.

Minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience.

Conducting high-quality research in the topics of foundation models, continual learning, multi-task / transfer learning, offline RL, and etc.;

Developing prototype applications in autonomous driving and other complex real-world optimization problems.

PhD in Computer Science or related fields with a focus on reinforcement learning & decision making.

This role is flexible in that you can work from home.

• Thorough troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills

• Strong C, C++ coding skills, along with Python, C# and Java

• Azure, AWS cloud development experience

Experience in one or more of these areas desirable

• Excellent C/C++ coding skills

Design, code, experiment and implement models and algorithms to maximize customer experience, supply side value, business outcomes, and infrastructure readiness

2+ years hands-on data science experience

Good communication and interpersonal skills for working in a multicultural work environment

Experience in NLP, image processing and/or recommendation systems

Hands on experience in data engineering, working with big data framework like Spark/Hadoop

Experience in data science for e-commerce and/or OTA

Experience with HPC and cloud computing; hands-on experience with schedulers is a plus.

Leverage the deep research work and findings to develop and program integrated software algorithms to structure.

Analyze and leverage research data in product and systems applications in both structured and unstructured environments.

Develop and communicate descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive insights/algorithms.

PhD in Computer Science or related discipline is required.

PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Applied Math, or equivalent work experience in ML

4+ years' experience implementing a variety of ML methods with a focus in a specialization such as computer vision or robotics

2+ years' experience implementing and deploying (dexterous) robotic manipulation tasks in simulation and on physical robots

Experience in simulation-to-reality transfer learning

Experience taking ML R&D and trained models into production

Hands-on experience integrating ML models onto a robotics platform

Knowledge of SQL or similar database management systems.

Knowledge of advanced data techniques, including data modeling, data access, data integration, data visualization, databases, database design, and data management.

Strong knowledge and experience in Machine Learning, Data Science, and Generative AI.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven solutions.

3-5 years of industry experience as a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.

PhD in Computer Science or related quantitative field or the equivalent practical experience.

2+ years of hands-on experience applying modern machine learning methods to solve real-world problems.

Extensive experience using modern technologies to accelerate machine learning (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow/Keras, Horovod, etc)

Curiosity and the professional skill-set to excel in an open, highly collaborative environment.
