Logistics Claim Specialist Jobs in British Columbia

This is a unique role that combines customer experience and Logistics.

Key Accountabilities LOVE & RESPECT FOR YOURSELF AND OTHERS

• Efficiently manage exceptions and supply chain issues

• Execute all daily tasks with excellence and in a timely and efficient manner

• Create and process orders/invoices efficiently and in a timely fashion

• Create and maintain customer master data

Prepare weekly update to customer management team.

Supports the Program Manager/GPD to manage the account as per agreed SLA with Operations and its support functions.

Report periodically on assigned client performance to manager.

Communicate to the customer where required as a single point of contact in support to the Program Manager.

Has responsibility for developing and driving operational procedures for the customer covering the location(s) where the services are to be performed.

Cultivates and spreads best practices in the WND operations.

Ensure that rate requests and files are completed in accordance with corporate requirements

Work closely with the sales team to ensure quotation deadlines and shipment requirements are met

Support and manage on-going vendor and partner relationships

3+ years experience in Break Bulk and Project Cargo Services

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail

Manage relationships with vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure adherence to service level agreements.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, preferably in the retail industry.

Experience with fast growth companies and scaling operations rapidly.

Strong knowledge of international supply chain and logistics processes, including import/export regulations and customs compliance.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Manage warehouse material handling and inventory by ensuring all warehouse transactions are entered in the Warehouse Management System

Resolve conflicts with stakeholders with the support of management

Minimum 3 years forklift operating experience, forklift training certification required

Additional responsibilities as required by Liberate Logistics

Minimum 3 years of warehousing experience preferably in a 3PL environment

Coordinate and execute warehouse work plan by coordinating with clients, vendor partners and internal team

This is not a remote / work from home position.

Experience in Microsoft Office and Access as well as Google Docs will be anasset.
