Junior Intermediate System Engineer Jobs

Conduct power system simulations experience with CYMDIST on power flows, voltage stability, transient stability, fault contribution and protection coordination;

Offer customer support and problem resolution with respect to the associated project, product, process, and quality system.

Experience with distribution planning, distributed energy resource (DER) interconnection impact, arc flash, micro grid analysis, and protection coordination;

Experience with ETAP, PSS/E, EMTP, ASPEN OneLiner, Siemen’s CAPE, or PSCAD (asset);

Must possess strong written, interpersonal and presentation communication skills;

Analyzing the impact of renewable generation or customer’s generations on utility distribution system by Connection Impact Assessments (CIA);

Excellent communication skills and ability to share information with the team and management in English.

Basic understanding of project management in construction, design, production, and/or manufacturing.

Intermediate Project Manager: $30 - $45 / hr (based on experience)

0 - 5 years experience in related work (Junior).

3 - 10 years experience in related work (Intermediate).

Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in I&C engineering and design

Experience with a variety of DCSs and PLCs, preferably with Allen Bradley

Experience in sizing, selecting and material requisition development for instrumentation

Excellent communication (verbal & written), interpersonal, and customer service skills

Strong planning and organizational skills, including attention to detail

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Is comfortable coding, has a background/education in computer programming and understands automated testing and the tools used to make that happen

Has clear spoken and written communication skills in English

Experience with C# and also understanding Object-Oriented programming, databases and REST API are an asset

Someone who loves to work on a wide variety of tasks

Love to test web applications

Is intelligent, efficient, energetic, and well organized

Management of requirement mapping to test cases.

Share knowledge and skills with other team members.

Deliver presentations to GDMS-C management and customers.

Prepare requirements documents and specifications.

Working knowledge of MS Office suite tools including Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
