MUST HAVE sales, business development or cold calling experience

Build a network of contacts within each organization along with industry specific accounts

Sustain and grow current business by developing and maintaining strong working relationships with the decision-makers.

Actively pursue new business opportunities by researching new customer groups, new clients and new business strategies.

Actively gather competitive intelligence within the business environment, including client groups, competitors with government departments

Additional experience in business development, management, customer service, retail, or hospitality preferred

Attend account management meetings throughout the weekdays and any scheduled conference calls assigned by the account you are working with

1-2 years experience in a customer service or sales role with demonstrated success

Engage daily with potential new account leads and provide impeccable customer support to each individual

Generate new business and customers by reaching out to consumers on a day-to-day basis

Document and track various sales activity and trends within the region and the account assigned

Management of a portfolio of client accounts relating to automobile, property, and general liability exposures.

Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage conflicting priorities in an effective manner.

Strong computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and an ability to learn new technical systems.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in either automobile or property/liability claims personal lines adjusting. Additional commercial lines experience is an asset.

All Lines and multi provincial experience a definite asset.

Strong communication skills, including listening, interviewing, negotiating, and must be able to flex style appropriate to audience.

Minimum 2-years agency related experience

Coordinate sales and delivery efforts with salesperson, warehouse, other departments

Managing a general email inbox of customer inquiries

Minimum 1 year of insurance experience

Strong working knowledge of personal lines auto and property coverages and limitations

Knowledge of Power Broker and insurance company portals is an asset

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
