Work Management Tools Product Administration

Be the Subject matter expert (SME) and administrator for ITS Enterprise Application’s work management tools (such as Microsoft Azure DevOps)

Lead solution upgrades, new feature adoption efforts and work management process improvements

Experience with ERP processes and/or systems is an asset, particularly in student, finance or HR

Prepare business cases, impact analyses, cost/benefit analyses, and gap analyses.

Maintaining good working knowledge of all services, policies, and procedures

In addition, the successful candidate will possess certification in ITIL v3 (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) Foundations from a recognized organization.

Ensuring response time and resolution/fulfillment objectives are met

Providing drop-in support to students, employees, suppliers, and guests by providing accurate information

Monitoring, tracking, and communicating incident/request statuses

Maintaining technology lifecycles set by asset management

Reporting on client satisfaction, metrics and recommendations to management and team members

HDI Desktop Support Technician certification or relevant training and/or experience

Preparing and maintaining reports and documentation on technology testing, best practices, product knowledge and services

ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) Foundations certification from a recognized authority

Solid working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications

Provide field construction management support (inspections, punch list generation, and project close-out)

Conduct site visit before and during design to confirm design requirements

Manages ongoing workload within the ITS team to ensure adequate resourcing for ongoing projects

Works with the Business Development Manager to develop proposals for the ITS engineering services provided by the team

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Electrical or Electronic Engineering with Transportation experience is preferred

Minimum 4 years of experience with ITS and electrical subsystems, preferably in the consulting engineering industry

Develop and/or assist the Lead in the preparation of management reporting.

Experience in a unionized, public-sector environment is also an asset, as is experience in education.

Knowledge of government/broader public sector-related guidelines, policies, and procedures.

Assist in the planning, development & implementation of the annual ITS budget.

Analyze, track & forecast ITS expenditures, including, but not limited to, special projects, operating & specialized ITS accounts, etc.

Develop analytical reports, tools & models to identify risks & opportunities and to support business process improvements.

Documenting, sharing, and maintaining a knowledge management solution.

Knowledge and experience in planning, coordinating, vendor and equipment selection, design, provisioning, and execution of Audio-Visual events

Inventory, asset, and life cycle management.

The successful candidate will possess a 3-year Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

A minimum of five years of experience delivering event production support services and leading complex projects on an enterprise scale.

In addition, the successful candidate will possess strong planning, execution, and troubleshooting skills with audio-visual systems and IP networks.

Excellent knowledge and experience in a Microsoft environment

Provide first contact call resolution for requests and incidents where possible within scope of Service Desk responsibilities

Manage end-user accounts, permissions, access rights, storage allocations in accordance with ITS policies and procedures

Any other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor Service Desk or Manager ITS

3+ years of experience in Information technology field or equivalent

ITIL or similar (Six Sigma, Lean, 15020000, COBIT, etc.) certifications are an asset
