Health Promotions Coordinator Jobs

Liaising with category management and marketing teams for tier one marketing flyer events.

Supporting category management, business analytics, and the promotions team in maintaining/approving promotions.

Creating and coordinating promotional events and liaises with category management to ensure promotional event transmissions are accurate and concise.

Supporting all data extraction, management, and integration initiatives.

Assisting with coaching new hires in Category Management/Promotions on various internal systems

Liaising with supply chain, inventory, category management and promotions teams on respective changes.

● Detail-oriented, extremely organized, conscientious with top-notch time management skills

● Experience delivering creative, engaging education programs, community presentations, and events to a diverse audience

The successful candidate will experience meaningful work pertaining to program areas such as the following:

Ability to organize, set priorities with demonstrated knowledge of project management methodology.

Demonstrated knowledge of social determinants of health and their impact on health outcomes.

Demonstrates understanding of the role of policy in school health and how school health policy is developed in Canada.

Demonstrates understanding of school health surveillance and monitoring as it relates to planning, policy analysis, program evaluation, advocacy and research.

Ability to apply community development principles while fostering excellent public relations.

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Knowledge of content management systems an asset

Manage and execute on the various elements of our promotional partnerships and commitments to continue and to create community relationships

Update and distribute weekly events/remote listing

Co-ordinate logistics, set up and staffing for sales promotion remotes and live broadcasts and community events

1 – 2 years experience in promotion, communication and/or event planning

Training through a broadcast technology program or direct experience in broadcast industry an asset

Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Three (3) years recent related experience;

Work Experience / Education / Certifications

Bachelor’s Degree (Business Management, Marketing, or related field)

1-2 years of experience in Marketing

Ability to think big picture while executing on day-to-day accountabilities

Perform flyer check to ensure accuracy of promotional retails and promotional offers

Work closely with Category Managers, Marketing ,and other cross functional teams to ensure accuracy of promo execution

Proficient knowledge of MS Office Excel and MS Outlook
