8 years plus experience in a financial services role

Communications or marketing experience preferred

Demonstrated working knowledge of financial services industry

Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

7+ years’ experience in Enterprise Risk related roles, with specific expertise preferred in Asset Management, Insurance, or Product Governance.

Monitoring and further optimizing the In Control Framework – controls within the Asset Management and Remarketing, Product Lifecycle, and Insurance processes.

Regularly advise senior management regarding risks, appropriate controls, remediation, actions and status thereof. Pro-actively propose and implement applicable improvement plans.

Ensure corrective actions are initiated timely, lessons learned are embedded in the Asset Management organization as well as other applicable areas.

Ensure that the GBU’s and Overlay functions take, own, and manage risks as a 1st line of responsibility.

5+ years with prior sales / relationship management experience in the financial services industry, with familiarity in advisor practice management

1-3 years of people management experience

Strong organizational skills: demonstrated ability to manage growing team while also meeting own responsibilities

Demonstrates effective and timely use of the customer relationship management system and expense reporting system

Apply understanding of market trends/business practices in making decisions necessary for enhancing the relationship management process

Proven relationship management acumen and prospecting aptitude

Project and process management skills, with expertise in prioritizing and balancing multiple projects/tasks simultaneously

3+ years of proven experience, preferably in procurement, risk, compliance, or audit at global firms and/or consulting firms

Experience implementing business processes and controls, including ongoing improvement opportunities

Proven experience in developing documents and presenting complex information to colleagues at all levels

Excellent engagement skills to achieve collaboration and alignment and build an inclusive environment while working autonomously with little direction

Detail oriented with excellent organization and time management skills

Manage all day-to-day vendor requirements, including program changes from final approval through to implementation

Create and manage supplier business relationships that builds supplier programs designed to drive profitable sales for GRS and its Partners

Negotiate, Forecast, and manage vendor rebate programs and seek out opportunities to maximize returns

3-5 years of vendor relations experience

Excellent interpersonal skills, to negotiate and collaborate with vendors on many different levels

Time management, organization and remaining focused on tasks at hand;

Airline industry and GDS Knowledge (considered an asset);

Working in a bilingual environment, with strong communication skills both written and verbal, in English and French.

Working in a fast-paced environment, both independently and within a team;

Multitasking and prioritizing daily workload, working on multiple and complex project tasks;

Please note this position is in Montreal, Quebec.

Experience within top-tier consulting, working at the Engagement Manager level or equivalent

Proficiency in using software organization (e.g. GitHub), project management tools (e.g. Jira) is considered a plus

Own project management for special projects and partner implementations

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience

Ability to manage ambiguity and shifting priorities
