A strong copywriting skillet for marketing & communications is required. (newsletters, website, social media, print ads)

Experience managing social media communities, creating engagement and growing our follower counts.

Experience managing multiple job boards in support of recruitment.

Experience working with non-profits, chamber of commerce, corp. donations & sponsorship programs, indigenous relations, the mining industry is a bonus.

At least 3 years of communications, marketing, or journalism experience

Skill in developing and carrying out strategic internal communication plans, including aligning goals across complex and growing organizations.

Exceptional design, copywriting and editing skills with strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.

Will follow online marketing trends and new social media sites and platforms and make recommendations.

• Experience with desktop publishing tools (Adobe Creative Suite), content management

reports/updates for management with recommendations for future enhancements.

• Ensure accurate and up to date file management.

• Knowledge around the Canadian education system, Indigenous peoples in Canada and

commensurate combination of education and experience.

• Highly effective project management, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet

Manage the distribution of digital signage content to branded, dealer, and partner locations across vendors.

Create strong creative briefs that lead to compelling communications and experiences in retail environments;

2+ years in a marketing, communications or advertising role post-secondary or related experience

Experience working in or interacting with the retail industry

Effective written and verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.

Experience in working with creative agencies and vendors

The ability to work well in groups while also achieving individual goals (bonus points for leadership experience / abilities!)

Experience playing team sports (former athletes tend to feel right at home and perform well in our industry!)

Possess 2+ years of experience in marketing communications, with a degree/diploma in communications, marketing or related discipline.

Complete mass projects, from briefing to execution, efficiently and accurately

Work with marketing teams to understand objectives and build strategic communication plans to achieve objectives.

Experience in the real estate market and pre-construction development sales is an asset

Extremely strong communication - concise writing, creative writing and verbal presentation skills are required

Experience with photography and video editing is an asset

Some of the qualifications and skills we are looking for include:

Edit, proofread and provide strategic communications advice on the Institute’s education publications and compliance tools and resources

4+ years experience in corporate or marketing communications (agency experience preferred)

Excellent communications skills. Produces clear and complete written articles, materials and reports and communicates effectively and appropriately

Copywrite and/or update, edit, proofread, and provide strategic communications advice on the Institute’s communication and marketing publications and materials as required

Provide strategic communications and PR counsel

• Interest and ability to learn emerging digital platforms, marketing, and social media management tools.

• 2-4 years work experience as a marketing coordinator or similar role.

• Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.

• Knowledge of digital marketing strategies.

• Basic graphic design skills.

• Knowledge of using Salesforce Pardot is a plus.

Coordinates workflow between members of project teams, including communication channels, content contributors, user experience specialists, and external consultants.

Plans and creates digital, social and print content plans that raises awareness as well as drives revenue and engagement.

Assesses the effectiveness of established marketing and communications plan and makes recommendations for future.

Communicates with key stakeholders with respect to project status, develops contingency plans and negotiates any necessary changes to timelines and deliverables.

Creates, produces and distributes a wide variety of digital and physical tactics.
