Financial Consulting Analyst Jobs

Strong time-management skills and the ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects at once with minimal supervision

Define client data requirements, design methodology for issue and data analysis, and proactively collect data from clients and the market

Bachelor’s degree; business, finance or analytics-related is preferred, but not required

Experience in a client/ customer-facing role and/ or assisting a senior executive

Highly analytical with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook

Can offer flexibility around working hours when required to meet deadlines

Undergraduate degree required; relevant professional qualifications such as CFA, FSA, MSc, and MBA are considered an asset

Strong oral and written communication skills

Working knowledge of with Office, more importantly Excel

Ability to work independently and manage time and projects individually

Produce quarterly reports for delivery to clients by pre-determined deadlines

Support team members in the construction and delivery of presentations to clients

•Provide support to management by providing monthly reporting.

•10+ years of accounting experience in the oil & gas industry.

•Experience working with IOGC is preferred, not necessary.

•All day-to-day accounting activities including Accounts Payable, Joint Venture and Production Accounting (non-operated).

•Assist with monthly analysis of financial reports.

•Lead contact on daily treasury functions including EFT’s and wire transfers.

Implement communication and change management strategies for multiple target audiences using various media

Research and develop communication and change management materials for various audiences

Experience communicating mental health and well-being, pension, benefits, and total rewards programs preferred

Minimum 2 years’ experience working in communication

Experience in a consulting firm preferred

Attend and facilitate client meetings/calls

Superior project management, research and presentation skills

Implement communication and change management strategies for multiple target audiences using various media

Evaluate/measure effectiveness of communication and change management strategies and deliverables

Develop and enhance current processes for serving communication and change management solutions clients

Develop accurate budgets and realistic project timelines to ensure successful completion of projects and adequate financial management

Experience communicating mental health and wellbeing, pension, benefits and total rewards programs an asset

Excellent time management and task prioritization skills;

Experience in Excel, Stata, Python, R, SQL, SAS, ArcGIS/ArcPy, or Cloud computing (Databricks/Spark, Google Cloud, Azure, AWS).

Effective written and oral communication skills;

Eagerness to learn new skills and programming languages;

Strong teamwork and collaboration capabilities;

Clear and demonstrated interest in consulting through coursework, work experience, activities, or attendance at CRA recruiting events.

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success

Gathering qualitative and quantitative data from external managers, custodians and other data providers;

Draft investment manager performance commentary;

Prepare presentations on investment topics (e.g. investment manager selection, investment manager structure)

Conduct searches for investment managers or CAP providers

Support experienced analysts and consultants in all aspects of work servicing clients and prospects

Salary will be determined by experience and education but generally falls between $75,000 to
