3-5 years’ experience in the construction industry complete with electrical engineering and building construction skills

Experience in drafting practices for electrical and mechanical building systems

Knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings and specifications and building material

Excellent communication, planning and organizational skills

Work with and prepare detailed diagrams, plans, drawings, reports and presentations

Coordinate, assess, and organize the work of various electrical projects

Electrical Industrial experience (medium voltage)

Advantageous to have knowledge on Grinding Mills (MCC’s, Motors, Transformers etc)

Experience in evaluating foreign equipment to ensure it meets CSA Standards

Experience in maintaining quality policies

Extended Healthcare Plan (Medical, Disability, Dental & Vision)

3+ years of project experience

Computer proficiency required (e.g. Microsoft Office products)

Engineering, tech, trades, or construction background required

Education in Electrical or Instrumentation or completion of a Control Engineering Technologist program or a combination of education and industry experience

Assisting with correspondence to Owner, Architect, Engineers, sub-trades and suppliers in cooperation with the Project Manager and Foreman

On association assist with closing tenders in consultation with senior managers and our electrical sub-contractor partners and suppliers

Minimum 3-5 years or more experience as an Electrical or Mechanical Project Coordinator in the construction industry

Assisting in setting up project administration files

Preparation of technical documents, calculation notes and specifications

- Electrical Engineering, Construction Technical Diploma and/or equivalent trade experience and knowledge

-Assist the Project Manager to ensure project objectives are met.

-2-4+ years’ experience in a coordinator role, preferably electrical contacting or electrical engineering.

-Basic knowledge of the construction industry

-Competency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office products

-Dispute resolution and negotiation skills

Previous experience working alone and in a team will also be an attribute

Possess or be prepared to complete First Aid certification (at employer's expense)

Possess or be prepared to complete Fall Protection certification (at employer's expense)

Light duty common area cleaning

Support team lead with vendor management and purchasing

Strong knowledge of maintenance and building operations

1-2 years experience as a Facilities Coordinator or similar role

Experience with office equipment and security systems

Sound decision-making skills and the ability to find practical solutions under pressure

Occupational First Aid Certification is an asset

· Continuous organizing, updating and maintenance of files within Project Management

· Completion of degree \ certificate (Engineering, Project Management, Economics\Commerce or related field)

· Work alongside Project Managers to ensure project delivery and execution of key project milestones

· 6+ months—1 year of experience preferred in commercial electrical project coordination MUST have estimating experience**

· Proficiency is MS Office (Excel, Word etc.) Blue Beam experience would be preferred

· Printing of drawings and specifications as well as other project documents (RFI, shop drawing, CCN’s etc.)
